loyalty-points.co.uk: No more?
I noticed a couple of days ago that a site I regularly use, www.loyalty-points.co.uk has been taken down. I thought it was probably just a temporary thing whilst the owners got their account in good order with their ISP or whatever, but a few days have passed and it’s still “suspended”…. So the question remains: why?
Basically, the site shares tesco points codes between users, so that people who order their groceries online can get extra points back, and then get stuff in exchange for their points…. Like holidays or MFI furniture.
After watching a crapumentary about Tesco tonight (sensationalism, yet again), it makes me wonder if big-bad tesco is behind this site being down? But to be honest, I think a more reasonable explanation is that simply the owners have stopped supporting the site, which to be honest is a lot of a shame
.
It’s a shame because the site had a good community going, and although I wasn’t really part of the site it was a good site(tm). It seems that for the last 6 – 9 months that the owners/admins of the site haven’t been updating the stickies so it seems that it’s farewell.
If anyone knows anything else about loyalty-points.co.uk, please email me as I’m going to have to find another source for my codes (and www.paidtoshop.co.uk isn’t as good).

Paid To shop is actually a much more dynamic and up to date site than Loyalty points ever was and the top place for Tesco advice on the net at the moment.
I know, because I was and am a moderator on both.
